FUN JUDO and KIDS JUDO (7-9 years old)
Contents:
Lots of fall techniques, gymnastics and lots of games
Ne-waza techniques (techniques on the knees)
Easier throwing techniques in
order to give the kids the possibility of grading to higher belts.
Judo and several games interact in order to keep the
kids interested.
Our goals:
To teach our kids to listen, look and do as the
teachers tell them.
To teach the kids the importance
of “fair play” according to the club’s moral and ethics.
To teach the kids how their body’s function
To teach the kids fall techniques, osaekomi, and
throwing techniques, both with fun and games, and competition techniques, in
order to be able to grade to higher belts.
To make kids interested in the values of sport,
friendship and respect.
These are
not that important:
Automatic learning
It’s not important how “well” or how “fast” the kids
learn the techniques.
We do not contemplate strength and condition training
as important at these ages, non the less, we make the
kids “try” harder exercise
No tactical “kumi-kata” nor
many “randori”, though sometimes they are able to use their techniques on the
teachers.
Competitions:
Those kids which have the interest of competing, are allowed
to do so in smaller arrangements in our club or in the vicinity of our club
